Rising Determination

My interpretation of a koi.


I had done this some time ago and I really had fun doing this piece. It taught me a considerable amount of learning to take each of the koi's scale as an each and separate form. I was trying to find a balance between realism morphed into the traditional koi tattoo style. I realize that the flowers do not resemble sakura tree blossoms whatsoever.. So I do apologize in advance for all of you sakura blossom lovers!
